Quigley and Cora just haning out, They add a lot to our life, they are good parents most of the time, Quigley likes the puppies when they get old enough to run and play with him. Both of them are just pettty mellow. Cora's favorite thing is taking a bath, she will lay down and soak until you finally have to day. Bath time if over alrread.. Quigley favorite thing is to be where ever his mistress is.. He does not do well for long without her.. He is usually found snuggled up right next to her. Or next to anyone else who happens to think that they can sit in her chair..

I Love history, I love it when I can trace my way back and see who I am and where I came from anyway..
One doe snot really realize what life has to offer until one beginds to see what life had... We look around and see what this county has became aond we wonder what our partis in it, but what do we do? In 1609, The American colonies were packed up and ready to leave for England, they had fought Indian wars, and were loosing, they had ran out of supplies and were ready to head home, they did not. For as they were starting there departure, three ships from England came sailing in. All funded and finaced by Thomas West. De La Warr. Thomas was interested not only in the coloney, he had came to fight . He succeeded in keeping the colonist in America and being named Govenor for life of Virginia.. He set sail back for England to help the colony and to bring more supplies and perhaps more people to America.. Upon returning again to the Americas,he died, and was buried in James Town, his grave being discoved in 2006.
I have so many questions about him.. Who was he really, was he kind, What was his reaction when he first saw this Land America? Did he fall in love with it.. How did his family get here? For they did.
I wonder at time how they felt those women who sailed the seas.. How did they feel as the land began to disappear, and then the weeks and weeks it took to this new land. Did they dream of home and of loved ones. Did they bury children at sea.. Did some of them come in later life, leaving children and grandchildren behing? We know of the men, but what of the women who stood behind them .. Strong women, who came, willing or not. Who died in a strange land. I wonder if they stood sometimes and looked at the Ocean and wondered if they would ever see there native land again. Very few did. Those that stayed raised children here. Children whom became Americans, who called this land home.

Dog gone it anyway...
Any time you go to Bandon you see dogs.. People have them at the beach and also down town.. Here are some people loading two black labs up in the car, the dogs love it here, they love the ocean.. I talked to one lady whom had a very little yorkie and she said. Oh he loves to come and just roam free.. We saw many labs.. Quigley saw a wonderful yellow lab at the beach and fussed and whined and finally we went over for him to see him, he wagged his tail and loved on that great old lab and whinned,, like, come and play with me.. I think at times he is looking for Webster for ever lab we saw, it was the same thinkg..So I have to tell you we also take our dogs. Here is Shannon taking Falkor.. then this little white dog heis the mascot of the local fish and chips place, he roams free and hopes for a hand out, but the owner has a sign posted please do not feed the dog.. He I think waits hopefully for someone to come whom does not read.In between the drift wood is a large golden retriever, we have seen him before running the beach, a wonderful dog.. We saw so many and it was not till the end of the day that I though to post them.. It seems to me that all the dogs that come to the beach are people dogs and good with other pets. There was a few that we felt we had to pick up the puppies and carry past.. When you come to the beach you see t his sign.. So carry a poop bag with you and at least have a leash for your dog. We let ours run if there is no one about, Coca Beans loved the coast.. She was so happy to dig and dig as if she could dig to China.. Quiggley just love to be there to run and play and see what he can see.. Now Falkor he was just happy to walk a little but when the wind blew and it got cold he was perfectly happy to be carried in the back pack...

Yep I am looking forward to Ocean beaches.. It will feel good to run to the coast and excape the heat. trying to find a day when that will work and work well for me.. Sorry Cora that you did not get to come with me to Oregon. But you are after all Joels dog.. Hope you are taking good care of him.
There are many times in my life that I am wondering what way I am traveling.. Seems as if, that I tend to find a road that I have never traveled before.. one thing that is pretty constant is my friend and buddy who at this moment is right beside me.. He is my shadow and althought a little spoilt around the edges my bud.. It does not seem that he is 4 and half years old, the years have gone too fast, they slip away and are gone before we know it.. Quiggers and I are now in Oregon, we have been joined by Shannon and Falcore and Coco, or Beans.. has came back to live with us. She was loved by Heather family, but after some thought and tears and choices she came back to live with Grandma as Heather has her hands full of little hands and sweet smiles and needs to concentrate on them.. They have moved into a appartment in Bontiful Utah.. I think all are glad to have their family back together. Aunt Rynn was excepted at school in Moscow so is on her way to new adventures and new things, Her time in Vernal was good. She learned she needed to get her education.. That growing up is going to be fun and challenging. Life is always rather interesting.. It is a great puzzle with many pieces that we need to put together, some fit quickly into place, some are hard to fine, others seem to fit but when we try them, they do not. Sometimes we take those pieces and try to force them to fit, just knowing they are the right ones. Only to discover they are not, and not matter how hard we try they do not work.. Then we have to start looking once again, for the right one, and sometimes it is hard to find it, infact sometimes we have to go and work on another part of the puzzle and leave be the piece we are looking for, and when we do, all at once there it is rigth in front of us and we marvel that it is found and it fits, and fits well . In life we are all looking for those pieces that fit and fit well and when we find them oh, how good that is.Shannon hasd came to Oregon with me. Josh is off playing army.. He is missed by his sweet wife.. She misses his witt and teasing and bossing. She misses him at night, she is sleeping with me.. So for all the men out there whom have slept with a pregnat wife, I now relate to how hard that is, She seems never to find a comfortable spot and is turning and twisting all night long.. I am tired and needing a good nights sleep and the heat is not helping.. SMILE.. Got to love her.. We actually only have one Queen sized bed here. Thinking when I came down this time I would come with my bed , I sold the two full beds that were here.. SMILE.. Going to order me a memory foam from Costco this week.. Just do not tell my husband.. SMILE... Gosh Maggie I am going to miss you.. Maggie has grown up fast from that little girl whom super glued her eye shut summers ago to a preteen.. She is awesome and fun most of the time.. SMILE.. Where did the years go, how did they slip by so fast. When did those chubby little hands and feet grow so big, and where did that wit and humor come from.. They have grown so fast these children and I miss the little ones they once were but I marvel at who they have become.
So now I am in the land of barns and farms and sheep.. Down home, I love barns but no, I do not have one or live by one, just search them out to paint.. I live at the beginning of town. No not the edge of town but the beginning. I live down the street from 7 eleven and the pizza place, in a little green house with a chain link fence and pink and red roses and a fushia bush, and a cedar tree that gives me wonderful shade.. I live two blocks from church and 7 miles from Roseburg.. and 60 miles from the mountains and 60 miles from the coast... I will miss my Idaho mountains and the snow.. I will miss much, but in missing much I also gain so much more.. I gain a house that is easier for me to take care of.. Traditions and family .. I gain a awesome ward family that I have already grown to love. And New adventures.. I will miss my grandchildren, but am so pleased to know that I will have a new grandchild born and Oregonian.. I will enjoy Temple trips with the sisters.. and I know God has plans for me.. It will not only work this Oregon adventure we are partaking, it will work well. For I believe if we are true and faithful. God just lets everything else we need fall into place. I do not know what he has planned, or how it will be, but I know this, it will be good, for I have been blessed with that knowledge.. Thank You Lord for your love. Thank you for you insite. Thank You for my kind husband who pushes me on , incourages me forward, tells me I am marvelous and wonderful and sweet and kind.. ( It gets him far and he is a smart man )

Riley loves the puppy and she is a ultimate puppy hog.. The puppy is a good sport about it and is learning that you have to move fast to keep up with the Clement kids.. She just giggles and loves on the puppy.. There was not a doubt in her heart that when the puppy came in the door it belonged to not Derrick but her.. Playing with Coco it more fun then anything else there is to do.. And Coco just seems to say. O.K. what next, what else can we do.
Daniel took us to this really cool place called Fantasy Canyon.. The kids loved it. They are just kids that are waiting for adventures to happen... Derrick of course had to play it up. This place was right our of star wars and he loved it...Heathe as ever was working hard to keep up with the kids and wht they were doing, she always has this great humor and good attitude.. Owen he just slept all thought it, all snug in his bed, which his dad carried the whole way.. Daniel is a great dad and always make the adventure worth it... Thanks Dan we loved it..Owen is just this mellow little kid that you can not help but just want to snuggle with.. Hope he stays that way, Heather said, I hope I get a mellow kid this time, hope so to, but the other two are way cute..Derrick loves his Little brother, he said. " Thanks mom for bringing us this new baby home..Riley is happy if you feed here.. Here she is eating strawberrys.. She has these big blue eyes that work well , because she is so hard not just to love no matter what she is into or what she had done, and then she has this big old flashy smile that wins you over right away. Her is Riley with dad looking at the puppy. She loves the puppy and thinks coco came to her house just for her.. She is indeed a puppy hog.

Joel and I drive through Grass Valley to get home... usually we just sail through after all there really is not a place to eat and there is not a bathroom there, but as we went through this time we noticed this old church that has seem better days and I just had to stop and take it's piture.. I fell in love with it.. I wonder who went to church there, is there anyone in Grass Valley that has memories of little girls and in pig tail or boys with frogs in their pocket that used to sit tall and straight in the pew.. I have always has a love for old empty churches and schools and always wondered what memoires were made there,The old school was right behind the church ad I wondered if it was 1-12 grades a big old building that was painted brick. Why did they pain that beautiful red brick I do not know.. I loved the entrance and could just sit and imagine the beautiful glass that used to adorn the doors .. I love the doors of building.. Can you not just see children lining up outside to go to class as the bell rings. For that is how it happened.. You lined up and went into the school almost marching , with reverence and respect..So as we turned the corner of that nostalgic place there lined row after row were old tractors, and then not far down the road row after row of old trucks.. Wow it was just pretty cool to see them all lined up there. We figured our dad would of loved it, not a museum .. Just someone private field and ther they sat.. They too probably could tell many tells of life.. So cool sometimes just to walk back into the past .. We would of stayed longer looking but the locals were looking at us and I am not to sure that it was in a friendly way.. wondering what in the heck we were doing.. driving up and down the roads of there little town...
