Riley loves the puppy and she is a ultimate puppy hog.. The puppy is a good sport about it and is learning that you have to move fast to keep up with the Clement kids.. She just giggles and loves on the puppy.. There was not a doubt in her heart that when the puppy came in the door it belonged to not Derrick but her.. Playing with Coco it more fun then anything else there is to do.. And Coco just seems to say. O.K. what next, what else can we do.
Daniel took us to this really cool place called Fantasy Canyon.. The kids loved it. They are just kids that are waiting for adventures to happen... Derrick of course had to play it up. This place was right our of star wars and he loved it...Heathe as ever was working hard to keep up with the kids and wht they were doing, she always has this great humor and good attitude.. Owen he just slept all thought it, all snug in his bed, which his dad carried the whole way.. Daniel is a great dad and always make the adventure worth it... Thanks Dan we loved it..Owen is just this mellow little kid that you can not help but just want to snuggle with.. Hope he stays that way, Heather said,  I hope I get a mellow kid this time, hope so to, but the other two are way cute..Derrick loves his Little brother, he said. " Thanks mom for bringing us this new baby home..Riley is happy if you feed here.. Here she is eating strawberrys.. She has these big blue eyes that work well , because she is so hard not just to love no matter what she is into or what she had done, and then she has this big old flashy smile that wins you over right away. Her is Riley with dad looking at the puppy.  She loves the puppy and thinks coco came to her house just for her.. She is indeed a puppy hog.

Joel and I drive through Grass Valley to get home... usually we just sail through after all there really is not a place to eat and there is not a bathroom there, but as we went through this time we noticed this old church that has seem better days and I just had to stop and take it's piture.. I fell in love with it.. I wonder who went to church there, is there anyone in Grass Valley that has memories of little girls and in pig tail or boys with frogs in their pocket that used to sit tall and straight in the pew.. I have always has a love for old empty churches and schools and always wondered what memoires were made there,The old school was right behind the church ad I wondered if it was  1-12 grades  a big old building that was painted brick. Why did they pain that beautiful red brick I do not know.. I loved the entrance and could just sit and imagine the beautiful glass that used to adorn the doors .. I love the doors of building.. Can you not just see children lining up outside to go to class as the bell rings. For that is how it happened.. You lined up and went into the school  almost marching , with reverence and respect..So as we turned the corner of that nostalgic place there lined row after row were old tractors, and then not far down the road row after row of old trucks.. Wow it was just pretty cool to see them all lined up there. We figured our dad would of loved it, not a museum .. Just someone private field and ther they sat.. They too probably could tell many tells of life..    So cool sometimes just to walk back into the past ..   We would of stayed longer looking but the locals were looking at us and I am not to sure that it was in a friendly way.. wondering what in the heck we were doing.. driving up and down the roads of there little town...

It is March and the crocus are in bloom they come up seem to just spring to life and  then are here a while and just gone so fast.. I picked a couple and brought them in to draw, and they faded so fast that I regretted it.. but then again. one must draw or what would life be ...
Those little shades of purple and bright yellow center, just make me smile to know spring is on it way, and  to the crocus the weather does not seem to matter they pop there little heads up through the snow.. They are here before any other flower dares to show it's face.. They always give us hope , I could say they give us hope that better is coming, but looking at there sweet beauty , I just do not think at this point it gets any better than that..

Ka-Rynn was double 2 on the 16th.. So the A' boys and Josh came over and cooked for her. Aaron was the chief chef.. Everyhing was wonderful and we all enjoyed a good mean and I think the kids enjoyed a fun night.  Friends are just great to have and we love all the kids running in and out and at times feel a little lost when the house gets a little to quiet.  I am thinking Josh s wondering just what in the heck his wife is doing.   And of course Sally and Rynn.   It was fun to bad that my camera did not have it's memory card in or we would of had more pictures.. SMILE..    Ka-Rynn has of course grown up to fast. She is sassy and outspoken and yet she has a sweet heart at times she seems to not know what direction she wants to go in and at other times she know but it seems that while she is swimming down stream everyone else is swimming up.. She has this fantastic laugh and smile and when she is good she is very good.. SMILE. always has been so..   She is herself and I love it..  Happy Year and hope all is wonderful and well and that this year is the most precious and wonderful year of you live..
Thomas west is our great great ancestor.. he came to America in 1609 ..  eventually the West line married into the Brownings , whom also came to America early.. Thomas did not last long in America but was the first govenor of Virginia and also Deleware was named after him> Yep and all this time I thought the Deleware Indians gave the state the name and it was just the opposite..  Thisis the only picture I could find of Jon, but he and Thomas look like brother.  More so then Jon looks like his own brothers.. It has amused and amazed us for a long time and make me realize that I was not found under a cabbage patch after all but do come from that Browning stock..   I love family history.. it is to me, Our history is so interesting, no matter where we came from. There are so many stories out there of just ordinary people that  had to be so fascinating , I  wish people had left more for us to  know..  I hope we leave a better legacy behind..
So what belongs to who. And what belongs to me?  I think Joel belongs to me. That is what works for me at any rate.Joel always checks things out.. but and one of his pet peeves is car stickers,, expesially ones that advertise.. He is cleaning one off.. The only sticker I ever had on a rig.. was I would rather be scouting. It was still on the rabbit till the day we sold it.. I do not know why Joel let me keep it. Maybe because I loved scouts..  Man was that a long time ago..   I was in scouting for twelve years and then did merrit badges for more years...   I love it..    Well here it is. the Jeep, all set up with my Nette plates.. Pronounce Nett .. Incase anyone was wondering.. SMILE. It will do. I hope it has the opportunity to be a part of many adventures..  It does have it token book of Mormon in it.. Not for pertection but for my perfection.. It comes in handy when I find my self with a few spare moments here and there..  I am tonight glad to be sitting her and not in pain and ready to go to Winston for our first outing..    I am actually thankful for life. My life.. I am grateful for the I have all around me. and for God  hand as it is ever in my life.. I am grateful for all my children. They make me laugh, at times they make me cry but I love them all so much and think they are all so wonderful .. I love adding to this family.. It has been great to have  Josh become a part of it,,,  I hope that we keep adding and growing ,  I love the friends that have become family and I love it when they come here and call it home..     I hope our  hearts and home will be opened to all in Oregon. That we can always  have a  welcome matt out..
